How To Get To Ravello
The closest airport to Ravello is Naples. If you are traveling around Italy beforehand and are taking the train, the train station in Naples is Napoli Centrale.
FROM NAPLES TO RAVELLO
PRIVATE CAR: This is our most recommended option as the private car will pick you up at your exact location and take you directly to Ravello. It is a 1-hour drive.
The transportation service we recommend can be reached at carservicederosa@gmail.com. You can also coordinate with your hotel for a car service to pick you up from the airport or train station.
FERRY BOAT: The ferry takes you from Naples to the town of Amalfi. From Amalfi, you will need to take a taxi or private car to Ravello. It is approximately a 15-minute drive, depending on traffic.
Insider Tips On Ravello
Ravello is a walking town only. Once you arrive to the entrance of the short tunnel, please coordinate with your hotel's porter service to help with your luggage as your car will not be able to drive you through.
Ladies, if you are staying in Ravello, we recommend wearing walking shoes and bringing your heels to change into at the event.

AROUND TOWN
TO EAT
Mimi Bar Pizzeria
The best pizza in all of Ravello. Great for a casual lunch/dinner.
Il Flauto Di Pan
This beautiful restaurant is located at Villa Cimbrone. It is a special occasion spot with jaw-dropping views and Michelin star food. Be sure to walk the gardens before dinner!
Ristorante Belvedere
Located at The Belmond Caruso, arguably the best hotel in Ravello. It has uninterrupted views over the endless blue Amalfi coastline. Classic flavors of the Campania region with a modern flair. A selection of the finest local wines, to enjoy in the most sparkling company.
Also, at the Caruso, try the Caruso Grill, perfect for long, lazy lunches or indulgent dinners. Their menu features traditional Neapolitan pizza, pasta, and fresh salads. Lastly, try Bar Caruso which has an incredible ambience and live music every night from 7pm - midnight.
Restaurant Santa Caterina
Just a short 20 minute taxi ride down to Amalfi, this high-end restaurant located in the famous Santa Caterina hotel is a very lovely dining experience. Ask to be seated outside so you can enjoy the fresh smell of the sea and sounds of the waves crashing. Make sure to top off the night with the lemon soufflé.
TO DO
Villa Cimbrone
If you are not staying at this hotel, we highly recommend visiting to walk the grounds and gardens. They are filled with impressive decorative elements from all over the world including statues, fountains, temples, pavilions and much more. The views are absolutely breathtaking as well. You could easily spend a couple hours strolling through here.
Shopping- Dina's Favorite Activity
GALBI started in the Amalfi Coast. What better way to experience GALBI than to shop from the very stores Dina sources from. Some of her favorites in Ravello: Passeggiando and Via Dei Rufolo. Be sure to also check out the ceramics. Ravello is known for that.
The Pink Closet at Palazzo Avino is also a MUST.
Visit Or Hike To The Town of Amalfi- Max's Favorite Activity
In less than an hour you can hike all the way down to the small town of Amalfi located right on the water. They have tons of cute local shops and casual bistros that you can pop in to. If you’re too tired to hike back after, you can easily get a taxi back up to Ravello!
And If you're interested in sailing the Amalfi Coast, you can charter a boat from the port in Amalfi! This is truly one of the best ways to see the coast!
Take A Cooking Class
Mamma Agata is the town favorite but Ravello has a variety of different ones. It is a lot of fun, you get to drink her wine made on property and the food is incredible. It is a truly memorable experience.
**Make sure to book in advance. She books from 6 months to a year out and availability is limited.

Not a Question, But a Fun One...How Did Dina and Max Meet?
Have You Ever Heard Of The Invisible String Theory? Their story is the very definition of it – a series of seemingly small, missed connections that eventually led us to where we were always meant to be.
Max and Dina were at Claremont McKenna College together, in the same grade, but their paths never really crossed — despite being surrounded by the same people and attending many of the same events. Max was the tennis player, always on the courts, while Dina spent most of her time in science labs or at a cappella rehearsals. They both had mutual friends, they even took the same history class, and Max knew Dina’s younger sister, Lina, who also went to CMC — but not Dina.
Fast forward to their five year college reunion, Dina was hesitant to attend but was convinced to go by her mom. Twenty minutes after arriving back in Claremont, she was seated at a table with people from her graduating class for the welcome dinner. It was there that she “met” Max again.
Dina caught Max's eye immediately and he was thinking of every possible way he could talk to her. Max finally sparked a conversation that lasted the entire dinner, and by the end of it, Max asked Dina out on a date — a brunch date in New York City at his favorite spot, Cookshop, because they were both going to be in New York at the same time that summer. One month later, their first date took place and the rest is history.
Now, they're getting married on the Amalfi Coast — Dina’s favorite place in the world, where she first started her company, GALBI, and where Dina and Max began texting back and forth constantly after the reunion and before their first date. The Amalfi Coast holds a special place in Dina’s heart, and now, it’s a place Max cherishes too. It seems like the invisible string had been pulling them together all along…
